SHRM Student Chapters in Indiana

Despite being the least extensive state in the continental United States positioned west of the Appalachian Mountains in the Midwestern Great Lakes region, there are numerous Society for Human Resource Management Student Chapters in Indiana for aspiring HR professionals. As the world’s largest association devoted exclusively to serving the needs of the human resource field, joining the SHRM helps students receive invaluable networking and learning opportunities to advance the necessary skills to break into the competitive profession. Ball State University

Located in Muncie about an hour northeast of the state capital in Indianapolis, Ball State University is ranked as the 181st best college and 101st top public school in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report. While graduate students in the Miller College of Business can pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management, undergraduate students can achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management. Sponsored by the East Central Indiana Human Resources Association (ECIHRA), the BSU Student SHRM Chapter is open for membership to any currently enrolled students pursuing a degree that supports Human Resource Management and hosts bi-weekly meetings every other Tuesday at 5 PM in Whitinger Business Building Room 140.

Calumet College of St. Joseph

Indiana Institute of Technology

As a private institution with a 42-acre urban campus in Fort Wayne, the Indiana Institute of Technology provides learners of all ages with career-focused professional education focused on business, computer science, and engineering. Indiana State University
